The Students’ Union Government of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai, under the leadership of Comr Jibrin Muhammad Lwafu is aware of the ongoing tussle going on in the university and advised the students not to lose sleep over it as the issues raised does not concern the students.
Addressing the rumours flying around regarding the imminent closure of the university hostels, Comr Jibrin Muhammad Lwafu is categorically making it clear that the hostels will not be shut and activities are to continue smoothly as planned.
He further sympathizes with the JAC on their grievances and urge them to talk things out with the university management for the interest of their children, the students. Lastly, students are advised to remain calm and not to throw themselves into a panic mode as all hands are on deck to right the situation.
The Students are also advised to desist from publishing fakenews and rumors on social media, as anyone caught will be punished.
No Student is also allowed to join the demonstration.
